Zaytoun CIC is a non-profit cooperative that was established in 2004 to develop a market in the UK for fairly traded artisan products made in Palestine. Palestine is the "birthplace of the olive tree," claims the International Olive Oil Council. Zaytoun is the Arabic word for olives. These delicious products are prepared using ingredients that have been ethically procured by Zaytoun, and they directly help the producer communities through commerce rather than aid.
