The only farmer-owned Fair Trade nut company in the UK is Liberation Foods. They get their nuts from small-scale growers and producers, who make up 44% of our business and come from countries like Malawi, Nicaragua, India, El Salvador, and Brazil. Because all of their products bear the Fairtrade logo, growers are guaranteed at least the Fairtrade minimum price for their nuts as well as a Fairtrade bonus for each kilogram of product they sell.
